Creating a Subdomain Through cPanel

This tutorial will walk you through creating a subdomain under your account using cPanel.

A subdomain is part of your main domain.

By way of example, my.rochen.com is a subdomain of rochen.com. Or you may want to set up a development site on a subdomain of your primary domain, and an option for that could be dev.yourdomain.com

Rochen does not limit the total number of subdomains you can have per cPanel account. Subdomains are often confused with add-on domains, and sometimes parked domains, though they are not the same thing. We recommend taking a moment to familiarize yourself with all three terms.

If you have any questions or concerns about how to add a subdomain, please open a technical support ticket to let us know.
