SSH Access for Shared Hosting Plans

To enable SSH for your particular plan type, please review the options below:

Legacy hosting plans, activated prior to March 2015:

SSH (Secure Telnet) access is disabled by default on all new hosting accounts as an added security measure. SSH is a semi-advanced to advanced tool and is not required by most users. If you do need SSH access to your account though, then please open a Tech Support ticket with us via My Rochen at: https://my.rochen.com asking us to enable ssh on your account (be sure to include the username when filling out the ticket form) and stating the reason that you require SSH access.

Premium Web Hosting plans, purchased on or after March 1st 2015:

If you are a Premium Web Hosting customer you can enable SSH for any of your domains directly from the my.rochen.com interface.

Simply find the relevant hosting account under the Shared Hosting section and next to the domain name you will see an option to enable/disable SSH.

We recommend using the PuTTY client to connect to your SSH session. You can download PuTTY for free from: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
