Rochen is a global web hosting provider with proud registrations in the United Kingdom, Ireland (EU) and the United States. We have team members in many other countries and customers in most countries around the world. Our entire team is horrified by Russia’s war unfolding against Ukraine.
As a smaller internet company, we are limited in scope as to what measures we can take to help the situation. Rochen will, of course, fully enforce all required sanctions in all jurisdictions that we operate in worldwide. We are however now taking the following actions in response to the invasion of sovereign Ukraine: –
- Although we only conduct a small amount of business in Russia, Rochen will begin suspending all operations in the region. Customers in Russia will receive non-renewal notifications and instructions on how to download their data. We hope to be able to welcome back friends in Russian again in the future.
- Any customers registered in Ukraine will receive assistance by way of a one year free service extension to their plans.
- Rochen will contribute to Unicef’s Ukraine Appeal in support of humanitarian support for children.
- Anyone on the ground in Ukraine that may be able benefit from Rochen’s services in a positive way is encouraged to contact us to see how we might be able to assist.
In addition to the steps Rochen has taken many of our partners and vendors are also taking steps to suspend operations in the region.
