Many customers find it useful to be able to access their account before changing the name servers for their domain name.<\/p>\n

You can access any account on our servers, before the DNS propagates, using the following details.<\/p>\n \t\t

\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t\t

\r\n \t\t\t\t\tImportant:\u00a0You should replace “servername” with the name of the server hosting your website. E.g. findlay.directrouter.com. You should replace “username” with the cPanel username of your account e.g. \/~jsmith. \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n \t\t

\r\n \t\t\t\t\tPlease note that you need to add the tilde symbol ( ~ ) in front of your username in order for the temporary url path to function correctly! \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

Temporary HTTP (Website) Access:<\/h3>\n

http:\/\/servername.directrouter.com\/~username<\/p>\n

Temporary cPanel Access:<\/h3>\n

http:\/\/servername.directrouter.com\/cpanel<\/p>\n

Login with the account’s cPanel username and password.<\/p>\n

Temporary FTP Access:<\/h3>\n

Use the following as FTP address:\u00a0servername.directrouter.com<\/p>\n

Login with account’s cPanel username and password.<\/p>\n

You servername will be stated in your Rochen\u00a0Welcome Email.<\/p>\n

UK-based Rochen Accounts:<\/h3>\n

Use “directrouter.co.uk” instead of “directrouter.com”.<\/p>\n
